Has anyone tried these out?

FZ6 Side Luggage Racks, Rear Plastic Guards, Yamaha Fazer 04-06

Just under $90 shipped. I have the cortech tri bag system which sags... Any better cheaper alternatives? I've seen a homemade one on the site but don't have a good way to bend pipes. Guess I should get to the gym!

Was thinking of getting the Givi ones so I'd have to option of eventually moving to hard cases but they're pretty pricey and appear to connect to the fender which I eliminated. I did put the fender back on for touring though.

Is there any reason they would not work with an 07 and up? Are the passenger pegs different?

Its not the pasenger pegs that are different as much as the mounting under the tail,.
IIRC that bolt isnt even there on my 08.

I asked the seller and he said it is not compatible with the 07.

Check out the following links. These might be able to help you come up with a cheaper solution. I stumbled across these while shopping for my FZ6 thinking I was going to have to use my Cortech bags.
