I got in on the Leo Vince clearance sale awhile back. Carbon Fiber look and they run much cooler than the stock exhaust. Sound great to me and I have the silencers in.

It's really a personal choice. I was set to buy Two Bros, but could not pass on the Leo sale. I don't ride in the winter time, so for 6 months out of the year, I think my money was well spent. Now my wife probably thinks otherwise! :BLAA:

well if you can keep the CAT then I think leo it is for me...

question: there seems to be 2 versions of the leo's, I see lots in member photos with a silver tip and carbon tube, but on all the sites that have them for sale that I see, it's a black plastic tip and either carbon or stainless tube. I prefer the metallic tip (that's actually a deciding factor...)

is that a difference between the 05/06 and the 07+ ? or did leo change it's design over it's entire product line for newer exhaust.

thanks

The version with the metallic tip is the old version, which has been replaced with the newer version, with thermoplastic end cap.
If you search around, you could/should find some of the older version in clearance :)

The difference between the 05/06 (S1) and 07+ (S2) versions is the CAT replacement tube that's different :)

Grtz,

hmm ok, thanks.

final question for a bit. I see lots of various 3M fake carbon fiber texture vynal, I wonder if this would adhere to the stainless cans and therefore make a much cheaper version of the carbon pipes and give an option to have either stainless or carbon?

I mean, it's just a round tube, it shouldn't be hard to wrap around right?

yes it should, but i think that once it went on the pipe you wouldn't be able to take it off and
have the same shiny pipe.

part number I used is #EYA70CEO that is for the carbon fiber, the stainless is #EYA70SEO, and the titanium is #EYA70TEO

I got the stainless Scorpions a few months ago and also fitted a de-cat pipe (emissions test is not part of the M.O.T at the moment).

The cat gave off so much heat and a horrible smell from the exhaust, I decided to get rid of it. I still have it in the garage in case they decide to bring emissions testing into the M.O.T.

I've just notice Bikebits have hiked the price of them from £319.00, the price I paid, to £369.00. I'm glad I got them when I did.

I absolutely LOVE them

First fell in love with them years ago when Mike put them on his SP1 (RC-51 to some members...) They were stainless but they sounded fantastic.

Incorrect. I got a set of them and you're quite frankly wrong Kazza.

And no, it doesn't come down to personal preference.

The CF Scorpions in actual fact SOUND AWESOME!

Rick
