I picked up a 2006 FZ6 with no fairings earlier for a good price. I am looking to take it to the track this season and am interested in clip ons for it. Im not even sure if the bars on mine right now are stock, the bars are cut so bar ends wont go in and they look lower than normal. (Pic Attached)
I dug into some old posts from user: defyinertia and I've found honda cbr1100xx are clip ons that should work and I really liked the look of his. I think they must be mounted below the triple to avoid issues? I don't want to run into any problems with suspension so is there anything else that needs to be done? How do the controls fit? Not looking to break the bank too, any better newer options now? Also looking for some aftermarket rearsets, suggestions? Sorry fairly new to this. Thank you for any input!
