Looking to buy one and trying to find out what will fit our bike and what people recommend

Yep RAM mount. I have replaced one of my handlebar bolts for a RAM one.
RAM Mount Clamp Base for Motorcycle Handlebar with M8 Screws Black Universal | eBay

Also had to buy a different Baseplate for my TomTom Rider 400 but works much better then the supplied mounts. Much more stable then anything that wraps around your handlebar.

Ram makes so many mounts in different sizes and configurations, I can't figure out which one you guys are using.
