Today i was riding and the engine light came on and the bike died. I thought i left the key on or something. So somebody gave me a jump and it started up and away i went, light was off so i thought i was OK. NOPE. The bike stalled on me 4 more time i was pissed. I drove home with the throttle at K RPM to keep it running. The engine light came on but no error code????? When i got home plugged it into the trick charger and i am awaiting my fate. Oil level was fine temp was 208, looked at the coolant reservoir and it was hard to see because the bike was hot . So i will leave it on the trickle and see what happens tomorrow. Anyone have a thought or an idea or help.

Im not sure, but a 07 bike should not be having battery issues. It could be a computer hick-up. Our brand new van would start out of the blue, it was a crank sensor. Then 2 weeks later the starter went out , the van has 30,000 miles . Motor vehicles are a very strange breed of things, besides women.lol

Did you ever fit an alarm or anything else that would need to splice the battery positive current? I had the exact same prob once, when a link on the wire did not have constant connection.

I guess when i get home i have to plug my bike in the trickle charger. I am going to call the dealer and see what they will do. The funny thing (well it's not funny it's @#@%@ ) when i plug it into the trickle ounce the charge is full, no more problems. I will bring it to the dealer, i paid for the 5 year maintenance free, so everything is covered. Who knows. When i bring it to them i will post the news.
