Some people are so sick you can not make them well. It is better for them to die.
Other people can be made well, but to become well they must understand the horrible things they have done, which would drive any sane person mad. In that situation it is better for them to be dead.
It is a horrible situation. The thing is that women and children are locked away like this all over our country and others. It is very rare that a missing child or person is found. Most are never seen or heard from again.

This guy (sick f**k) is in his seventies. Whatever his sentence, he is likely to die in jail. Unless his lawyer can prove he is mentally ill. Well Dah. Of course, he's nuts he kept his daughter in a basement for 24 years & repeatedly raped her & produced 7 children. He's now claiming that he's some kind of hero for releasing the eldest of these children, before she died of major organ failure.

Whilst us Europeans are allegedly more sophisticated, in that we've abolished the death penalty, I think Steve is right. There is no 'rehabilitating' this guy, he has no remorse, kick his sorry ass of the planet!

I say give him a similar punishment/treatment to the one he gave out (with a twist)...24 years, each spent in a different cell with a specially selected different "bubba".....That will give him a taste of what being held captive and repeatedly raped was like for his daughter...
