Is your bike your only transportation?

Ive got a silverado with a 34 gallon gas tank. Its taking me, my bike, and all my belongings to San Diego in 10 days. After I get there, who knows? maybe sell it and by a suzuki 400 super moto bike. Might keep it for a construction job if thats what i decide to do.

btw, how do you plan getting groceries and running those type of errands?! lol. i mean unless you have one of those saddle bags.

Nope, no saddle bags. Only a backpack so far. Luckily I live close to pretty much everything I need. Post Office is half a block away, library is about 4 blocks, supermarket is about 6 blocks, 7-Eleven is 5 blocks or so and a bar is only a block away in case I need an emergency brewski.

I don't know if I'll borrow a shopping cart from the supermarket or just to a lot of little trips.

It's not so bad. I'm downsizing. Getting tired of taking care of broken down things anyway.

I have a car as well as my FZ6 (who doesnt have a car in SoCal!?! ) but i try to use the bike as much as i can. I have a luggage rack so its no problem to do grocerys and whatnot. I save money on gas, my bike does double MPG of what my car would do. I keep the car for when i wanna go out with buddies, go to the club, buy something big that wouldnt fit on my bike and of course for those rainy days (which is like a few days out of the year over here :Flip:... )
