It Finally Happened - the autonomous motorcycle

This was demonstrated at the CES in Las Vegas this past week:

(I now ride a BMW R1200 GS, so that's an extra thrill for me). This is pretty incredible, and I'm already dreaming of my bike starting up, leaving the parking spot, and driving up to the front door of my place of employment to pick me up. Kewl!!

I read there's a town in Arizona where people have been attacking an auto-piloted Google van. It has a human co-pilot for safety but apparently people think it's going to hurt someone or take their job.

I see more stupid human behavior every day than I could imagine a computerized car or MC doing. Maybe we need Robo Cop first?
