I've notice that my neighbors with loud exhaust say hi with the bike pipes as they ride by my house now. They stop me when I ride pass to check my bike out, and now I hear them as they ride by my house. They give extra revs and I think it's way kool.

I get it at stop lights from bikes and sport cars.

Do you get this???

In my hood revs with the exhaust means you want to race. So I never do it and i dont get people doing it to me. But i guess thats a neat way to say hello, except when your sleeping and lots of bikes are revving past your house hahaha

I rev in place of honking the horn a lot of times. For example, if I'm passing a friend's house - I'll give a rev.

I've also been known to rev at any sexy ladies that happen to be staring at me :spank:

I think the guy on my street with a worked Hyundai Genesis has seen me checking out his car. When he drives by I hear a perfectly-timed *loud* blow-off valve shift.

Loud pipes are cool. And if I could turn them on and off, I would have them.

i`ve sat in a carpark here a few time s and just started the bike up n set off another bikes alsrm by reving just as going

we dont rev here either, I have revved at someone that cut me off, but that was more because I grabbed the clutch and brakes lulz

Loud pipes are for harley's. Guy from church asked me once (i had my helmet in my hand and my jacket on) "so you ride huh?", "yeah". Literally the next question was "Is it loud?" not even "oh what do you ride" or something. Good riding saves lives, loud pipes are annoying. If my neighbors started their hogs and just revved them in the neighborhood id ride my dirtbike right next to the bedroom window at 2:00am and rev the piss out of it just to let em know. Granted i would have asked them politely not to rev their bikes before going extreme with it.
