Hello,

I have an '06 FZ6 and unfortunately due to the parking situation at work every once in a while I find my left mirror moved/bent by a pedestrian accidentally brushing against it.

Anyone know if I start folding the mirror inwards every day will I eventually mess up/weaken the mounting? - I ask since I see Yt vids of other riders (on different bikes though) folding their mirrors all the time when they filter.

That's a relief, thanks for the reply!

I got tired of my kids bumping my mirrors out of place when they get their bikes out of the garage, mirrors get folded back after every ride and most of the winter. A little time in the sun and the rubber goes right back in place.

Fold em. I parked my bike in the living room for two years and had to fold em to go in or out. No problem at all, none, zero. It is a Yamaha after all................
