Update 2025! My engine is toast! Valves in cylinders 1(80%) and 3(40%) are leaking air in a leak down test. The bike has currently 30,xxx. The oil level light that was intermittent may have been due to a failing or lackluster oil pump( that has not been confirmed). Its hard to believe that I ran it all last season and most of this season.

Make sure you pay attention to that oil level/pressure light even if your oil level is good. check your valves at recommended intervals despite other peoples experiences and opinions.

Re-build head / valve job /used head???

I wouldn't scrap the engine/bike for a couple of valves...
