Overpriced 2nd hand bikes - USA you are SOOOO lucky

You can ride year round here, as long as you don't mind the weather.

In the SW you can ride year round with temps in the high 60's to 70's. For the peeps that live there they think it's cold.

Let's not get into gear prices!

For example, our local accessory store (which is one of the biggest in the country and is ALWAYS busy) advertised the Carlos Checa X-Lite X-802 helmet, the blue one with the map of the world on, for USD 1,100 and I saw it on a British website for USD 645 :(

:jawdrop: I would say only . . . bla, bla, bla . . . You don`t know how lucky you are..:shakehead:

I paid $2400 for my 2004, with 32k on the odometer. USA > OZ

Everyone please stop this, or I'll sue you all for harassment of Norwegians. :spank: ;)

I paid the equivalent to US$ 10000 for my 2004 FZ6-S in September 2009, with 20000 kms on the meter. :( I found no other FZ6 coming close to that price when I was looking, so I bought it unseen, without a test drive. :(
