After installing the Gild pipe and having to hack out the stock plastic under seat tray, I have fabricated a crude but usable pan/tool storage area and covered it in "heat tape" to act as a type of heat shield as well.

Next on the list to complete the install, are the "Newyorkian" style expanded aluminum fillers for the sides of the pipe area. Already have them cut out, just need to trim and affix them, then done...:D

I would love to know your method behind that tray. . .i just kept a small cubby hole with the lock to retain the original lockin seat. . .but that looks great!
