rocks pelting my pipes

I live down a rocky dirt road and my pipe fronts are taking a beating. A front cowl would also take a beating. Thought about exhaust wrap or fender extender...any other ideas?? Black powdercoat maybe?

And yes, I searched for exhaust wrap and fender extenders already!!
Just wondering of any of you crazy creative souls had a better idea. My 2009 pipes are looking like ass!!! Makes me want to cry.

Fit a long mudflap to the front mudguard, like those you see on trucks

Google fender extender. Pyramid Plastics make one among others. If you look on my site link in my signature you can see one fitted to my bike.

You can also get creative with wire mesh. I put some on my GPZ500S if you click on GPZ500S Mods and Belly Pan Mesh on my site.
