Sliders Kevlar 4.0 Cargo Pants Review

I wear Sliders' kevlar jeans almost exclusively when riding, really like them. Interesting that the cargo pocket buttons fell right off, the main button above the fly on all four of my jeans also had to be re-sewn; Sliders obviously isn't good at sewing buttons. :spank:

very nice, I would love a pair of jeans that I could wear to the office and still get more protectiont than cotton.
Made by the same company but a little more business casual with out the cargo pockets.

I like the option of knee armor if you want, Id be curious how easy it would be to remove it. IE when i got to work take out the knee pads.

you can buy a insert for them to make them warmer as well.
$230 apposed to $79 though.......but If I change at work I dont really need more than one pair.

I bought me a pair of the Slider Cargo pants 2 weeks back.
These pants are real loose but comfortable. I also got the inserts but because the pants are so loose I am not sure how well they would stay in place.
The stitching seems good and the quality seems high.
Definitely lighter than my dragging jeans and way more comfortable.
But in hindsight I would have gone with the khakis instead, they seem a bit more snug, offcourse I could be wrong about that assumption

I have a pair of Sliders jeans, but it was a previous version. If they're similar (as they appear on the pictures), the knee armor is held in place via a mesh pocket closed with velcro strips on the inside of the pant legs. The mesh pocket opens/closes on the lower side of the pocket, but I'm not sure how feasible/easy it would be to remove without taking the jeans off. Overall, the jeans are quite loose/baggy so the knee armor has never restricted me enough to want to remove them during an extended stop.
