Throttle restriction

From a thread posted last year...

we just confirmed today that if you need to derestrict the FZ6R, it's a simple procedure of bending back the limiter (stop) plate at the end of the throttle cable. You can re-restrict it by bending back. A nice and simple thing, luckily. Not 100% certain that there are no other limiters in place (eg throttle bodies) but this will at least give you more than 1cm of throttle movement.

I won't guarantee it though... do at your own risk. The guy who posted it works for BikeBiz in NSW, and stated earlier he had heard that the throttle bodies may need to be replaced at a cost of around $2000.
