Date night last night.
Went to see Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. Based on a John Le Carre book. Gotta say it was absolutely awesome. No CGI special effects etc, just bloody good acting.
Filmed "scratchy" so it actually looked like a movie made in the 70s instead of just being set in the 70s.
Gary Oldham, John Hurt, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy etc. Very good. MI5/espionage movie. Great. Oldham nominated for Best Actor Oscar - can see why. Rather than a mega blockbuster movie, it is more a slow paced who dunnit.
