Touring Pegs?

Has anyone put different pegs on their FZ for long trips? I'm thinning of some thicker vibration dampening pegs or something along those lines. I found my right foot falling asleep after 80 miles or so due to vibration during my last trip. It helped to shift into sixth whenever possible, but there was still buzziness at times that would put my toes to sleep. Any suggestions?

Maybe a gel insole? I put the Buell 1" lower pegs on, which are all metal. I'd say vibration is slightly worse, but the furthest I've ridden is about 50 miles, and not real high speed stuff. I don't like them lowered though, so the pegs are coming off.
