Beautifully Shot, Beautiful Nature The Youtube channel Stories of Bike shoots some of the most gorgeous videos of riders and their motorcycles. Instead of focusing on the machine specifically, like a lot of channels do, the videos focus on the actual story of the rider, where they ride, what they ride, and above all why ...

Nice scenery and roads, and I agree that riding should (also) be simply about enjoying the ride, but really- what's the point of the the sad music, vintage filter, dramatic portrait style filming of the narrator (with bookeh and lighting to make it look like he's almost in tears)? It makes it look like it's a video for child abuse prevention or a cancer fundraiser campaign.

And what's the point of the BMW product placement? Apart from the fact that if you get a bike to ONLY "go on a fire road" and ride on the road at slow speed you'd get a G310GS (if it must be a BMW). Not a 80-90hp F800GS. More so, from the few still shots of the bike it seems that there aren't too large "chicken strips" left. The tires gets used that much when either there's poor form and/or poor lines but he has neutral body positioning and decent lines (late-ish apex) so it's not from this. Or when there's certain speed, which he claims he doesn't do. So how did the tire sides got worn? Lent the bike to a irresponsable friend?

Finally- pulling off the road and waiting for the truck ahead to clear the road- c'mon! Are there only 2 trucks in the whole state so he gets to do that only once a year? Or he's just taking a 20 minute break every few kilometers, just so he'd be "safer than thou" and go to the greatest extent avoiding ANY risk such as overtaking a long vehicle (though he is riding a vehicle capable of out accelerating 99% of vehicles) .

Sorry but the BS was just too distracting and IMO spoiled the video.

stories of bike is a great series focussing on varied biking points of view and engaging with folks on many levels audience and subjects.
You might not think much of this one but check out a few more, the tell an inter=sting tale, are generally well shot and kind have a similarity to "why we ride" but in short grabs
