who wants to ride Rt 7 Connecticut?

hey all -

Hoping I can get a few people interested in a ride in the next 2 to 3 weeks

Start: Long Island Nassau County

End: somewhere up there north Rt 7 then return back

Date: TBD. I am flexible and open to a weekday trip if any interest

Probable route: Hutchinson parkway -> Rt 684 toward Brewster -> Rte 22 -> Rte 55 -> Rte 7

I recently took a trip up there to get wheels for my project car. Route 7 is a teriffic windy and long road, The only trick is to ride it early enough in the day to not get
stuck behind slow cars. I went up as far as New Canaan which is pretty close to Mass border.

Keep me posted - I may want to get out one of these days. It's an awesome route, and you definitely should stop by Toymakers Cafe in Canaan.

Also, on the way back (or there) make sure to go through the stretch between route 55 and New Milford it's south of where 55 intersects route 7) - good stretch with some curves.

Oh, and New Canaan is the snobby town (almost) on the shore ;-) There ARE some decent back roads there, but they ain't as nice ;-)
