almost got owned yesterday

I was leaving work yesterday and came up to an intersection. I was in the right lane going to make a right turn. the signal light was red. I saw a truck coming up pretty quickly behind me, that got my attention. this guy was going to try and squeeze between me and the curb (there wasn't enough room for him) there was traffic going through the intersection so accelerating out of it wasn't an option. I cut over to the left side of the lane as much as possible just as he blew past me running the red light almost hitting a car in the intersection. he then proceeds to make a right turn and cuts off a car to get in the left lane. I make the right and filter through the traffic and come along side his truck and tell him he is a arse hat and ask him what his F-ing problem is. he looks at me and says nothing. I throw my hands up and tell him why don't you get out of your truck you POS. he then guns it and blows through the intersection almost getting broad sided by a car. I swear I wanted to beat the crap out of this guy, I mean he would've plowed me if I hadn't seen him coming. I wish the car that missed him had caved his door in, providing they didn't get hurt.:banghead:

did I mention I freeking hate cagers!!!!
 
Sorry you have so much hatred.:(:justkidding: Seriously, I am a cager for work purposes and have seen people on bikes do some pretty stupid a$$ sh!! and cagers too. I think it is a case by case thing. -just my opinion:Flash:
 
on a good note I received a call from HYR (the dealer I bought my R1 from) they apologized for the delay in me receiving my new ECU and said it should be in this week :D
 
i feel you bro, i think those assholes need to be beatten a copple of times! but you know what it takes a lot of **** to be having road rage in a bike, but ive noticed when im in a car i get road rage!! haha the bike just calmes me down
 
If it makes you feel any better I want to follow people that just drive in the left lane for no reason and make everyone go around them, to their stop. Beat them with a 36" piece of 1" pvc pipe the whole time repeating Keep right except to pass Keep right except to pass.

Dang Danny, at least you had the awareness about you to see it coming and get out of the way. I swear it is just too easy to get a driver's license in California. Any arse hat with a pulse can get one it seems.:spank:

The important thing is that you are alright though and live to ride another day.:thumbup:

ya, let this be a lesson to everyone. always be observant to your surroundings
 
Since the guy made multiple moving violations, pretty much driving recklessly, you should have dialed 911 and turned him in. The guy could have been drinking, or have already been reported driving recklessly to support your call. You could have called and told them and being that your bike is a magnet for cops, that you would be following him with your Red R1 so that the cops would have no difficulty finding the perp.

+ 1 on paying attention of your surroundings, 360 degrees. Most inexperienced riders would have not seen this coming. Read and learn everyone.
