Aftermarket Turn Signals?

I was looking through the pictures of everyones bikes and noticed that no one really has aftermarket turn signals. Why is that? I have an 08 Fz6 and i am looking into replacing the big bulky stock signals. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to make them fit and work correctly? I am going to look into it myself and see if I can come up with a way to fit them.

I have after market front and rear turn signals c/f led on front and led in my fender eliminator kit on rear the back ones are alittle small but I am getting ready to put a led integrated tail light on the rear the smoked version it has turn signals built into it. So I will have four turn signals on the rear. It is better to be seen. If you are going to put leds on you will either have to get a load resistor for each turn signal or get a different flasher relay or they will blink way to fast.

I kind of liked the blink speed with LED fronts and stock rears. I ended up with the original blink speed when I went naked though.

The front signals of the 07-08 model bikes are different from the earlier bikes. Also $121 dollars for a pair of Watsen turn signals are kind of a little on the ridiculous side of the pricing chart. I have a cyclegear store in my town and i can get signals from $10-$50 a pair there.

It all depends on what you like. What can be ridiculous to one person is a great deal to another.

I'd never buy 24" gold plated wheels for my truck, BUT, some people have to have them and buy them.

The watsen's are flush mounts, to some people, this makes them worth a premium price.....I tend to agree with you though.

I'm pretty sure the signals themselves are the same on all years of the fz6. What's different is where they mount, either through (04-06) or below (07-09) the fairing. Flush mounts wouldn't make much sense on the 07 model. I've got a set of the cheap ($30) LED flashers like you would get a cycle gear. I like them, they are bright.

I just installed a pair of 2 Bros rear turns. It really helped the look of the rear of the bike. No pics yet, but soon.

go to e-bay, and look up carbon turn signals for motorcycles. I have bought 1 pair for 10 dollars ,and free shipping. Go to 58 cycle , they have alot of stuff too.

I will just be going with the stockers and clear lenses with amber bulbs.

I got tired of my own big bulgy turn signals, so i ordered some Rizoma signals. and damm!
I'll get my brother to take some pics of it on friday
