mine turns on at 210f and back off at 199f.
I think the 04-06 just use bars and no actul temps... but i would assume that they are the same temps being represented by the bars.

How hot is TOO hot?
I noticed mine one day got over 245-250 F.

The only time mine has ever gotten that hot is when the fan was out. I would double check your fan and make sure it's working properly. I believe at either 240-250 the warning light will actually come on. At least it did on my 07.

Mines an '07 as well. My fan was working like crazy and when I stopped, it would cool back down. I was on a gravel road for a couple of hours, trying to not drop it, going slow in first (and sometimes 2nd) gear. Mixture of the low gear / higher rpms, the warm weather, and dust in the air, made for the heat, but my Rad fan was definatly working.

my owner man. says shut it down at 139c. the warning light comes on at 130c. so I figure if I ever get to 130 I'll stretch my legs

For anyone else, 130c = 266 F
