Did anybody else get this piece of garbage in the mail?

I can't believe that Yamaha expects me to not ride my motorcycle until they redesign, manufacture and replace my frame, in "90 to 180 days."

That's half a year without my brand new bike.

I'm seriously pissed right now. If they can't fix my bike's frame ASAP, I'm going to start looking into lemon laws.

"Spontaneous catastrophic structural failure" my ass. I'd expect that kind of **** from Harley Davidson, not from Yamaha!

April fools!!! But seriously I was actually thinking of posting a new thread on this. I have heard of FZ1 owners reporting cracks in the frame of the bike. The cracks all occurred where the frame is welded together on the left and on the right side of the bike. Anybody hear anything?

Lemon law no worky for bikes, just cars. Honda frames do go pooh pooh (Gold Wing)... Me likey Harley.......

Suzuki had that problem with the GSX-R 1000's in 2005 after their remodel, the welds were breaking in the front of the frame where the steering comes through and all the front ends were falling off when the squids were coming down off of wheelies. Saw one break last year at the track also under hard breaking coming down a hill into a steep turn... luckily he was relatively ok, the bike... was not. He should have done the recall...

Hehehe. I'm a naughty boy.

P.S. All this time I've tried to post useful info and mods, and my rep's been stuck at 3. I post an April Fools prank and it goes to 14!

did you read my comment? I said you are always a helpful poster.... geez!

Fred you are evil, but then again you fly the Jolly Roger and have a pirate ship in your back yard. I expect nothing less from you! :Flip:
