I have lots of bugs and a few spots of bent fins on my radiator so I thought I would try and make a guard. I have lots of aluminum mesh, so I cut out a piece, primed, and sprayed it to see how I liked it. I just secured it to the plastic thingy that goes over the radiator with some zip ties to see how I liked it.

Just an idea, but maybe use stainless steel for the mesh. The silver color might look pretty nice, like an accent so to speak. Just a thought.

Looks good even in aluminum. I've been looking to get something before I get any more dings to the RAD. Ever thought of a short production run (5 or 10), for a reasonable low, ;) low fee. I'm sure other members here would be up for it too.

Well I would imagine the cost of shipping alone would be about the same as a piece of mesh and a pair of tin snips, but I will see what the finished product looks like. I've just been riding around with the aluminum piece to see how it holds up.
