This was early morning in Nevada before starting the ride home. Did somewhere around 400 miles today beginning at 29,995 (I'll try to remember to go check the ODO later)

I got the bike back in February with 18,200 on it, and I'm putting close to 2k/month on it right now. Still loving the hell out of this bike and planning on keeping it forever.

(Although one of the goatier roads did break part of my cowling, so there is some glue and ziptie time in my schedule tomorrow.)

Took me nearly a year to put another 10k on the bike. Ticked over 40k last weekend. I'm claiming as an excuse that I was laid up for 2 months after a crash last winter.

Eyeballing the 50k threads. Should get there in 6 months or so.

Where were you in Nevada? Wondering what road caused breakage to your cowling.

The road that broke my cowling was in CA (Sheep Ranch Road). That image was taken just outside Hawthorne, NV on Pole Line Rd. It's the most boring road in the world unless you're doing top speed runs.

Unless your doing highway 50 between Fallon, NV and Utah border. lol It's labeled "the loneliest road in the world" Pretty flippin boring in a car. I couldn't imagine on a bike. I'd be doing top speeds for sure.

I haven't done Sheep Ranch Rd. Thanks for the warning. I'll skip it.
