Question Which wire is live ?

The blue with the red stripe is hot for both the tail light and the license plate light.

And the yellow wire is your brake light.

After cutting wires i found the Live wire i was looking for.Thanks guys, much appreciated
It was the Black wire.....

Not sure what you are looking for. The Black wire is the chassis ground for both the Tail/License plate light (Blue) and the Brake light (Yellow).

Thanks for that... was connecting brake lights on my topbox as didn't know what wire was what..... yes was the yellow and black, my mind was all over the place...... I wired up brake lights to my topbox, did it to my last fz6 s2 (crashed & written off 2 months ago), bought another fz6 s2 was doing the same to topbox, but got confused withwiring...
