I live in New Jersey. We have few nice roads to ride, but they're not that long and passing is not permitted most of time. Some good and maybe less crowded roads down south in NC/TN, and some ok roads up north of us like NY, VT etc. But nothing can be compared to roads and moto culture in Alps...

I like the bike, and it likely be my next one, but the front fairings and the steering could be narrower.

Lucky. I guess VA roads in much better shape than in NJ. NY metro area is entirely covered in potholes. Especially after winter the roads are like in a third world country shape... Also in the spring the sand from winter is still on the roads and can greet you in a harp curve. no fun

I got the EBC HH ones. They're made in the US, not in some developing country, so I'll keep them. I was suprized that they don't have a groove in the middle

Rover, how are the lights holding up? Me and my friend had the same lights. True that they're very bright, but after like 5 or 6 months one of them went dead, and same happened with my friend's light. I think they're coming form India. We paid 95$ for 2. I'm starting to avoid buying things...

I set on the FJ at the bike show. I think it feels more like S10 than FZ6. Feels comfortable and in command, but the front of the tank (not at the knees), and the steering bar are too wide. Wonder how it will be at filtering cars in traffic. Passenger seat is very good. Should be a bike for all...

Many new cool bikes to see. FJ-09, new Versys1000, BMW S1000XR, Suzi GSX-S100/750, KTM1290 S.Duk BMW S1000R etc. The last 2 are sick bikes... Rode to work today too, but the morning roads are damp and look glazed. Feels like riding on ice, although it may be just such impression...

Nice trip! Love riding in Spain. How do you compare the GS to riding FZ6? Would be as comfortable or fun on FZ6? Also, how the GS handles tight/switchbacked corners?
