Sad to say, after getting the T30 last week (or was it the Monday before?) I haven't yet gotten out to ride, even to scuff it in.:spank: I am committed to a 1,000 mile weekend this coming weekend so I'll have some initial feedback next week. thanks for your patience. :thumbup:

I really liked the BT023R/S20F Cliff. I got 5400 miles out of the S20 front which is the most I've gotten out of a sport front tire since I got my FZ 4 1/2 years ago. I've decided to try the T30 front which I got last Monday and will put about 1000 miles or so on next weekend. I'll update my...

Nice Eric, thanks for the pics. :rockon: Can you say "toe sliders" for your next pair of Sidi's? :eek: The first thing Mrs. Lefty always checks is the toes of my Sidi's when I get back from a ride, heaven forbid I have any grinding like you showed! :spank:

This is just from my personal experience, but after convincing myself that I needed super sport tires to maintain the traction I thought I needed to ride "quickly" on public roads, I found after a few years of testing my theory that sport touring tires have recently provided more than enough...

Have fun, and once again I'm jealous that I'm not down there... :( But in spirit....:rockon: I need to go on some long rides soon! :spank:

Good point Randy. :thumbup: Mrs. Lefty's always reminding me not to skimp on grip for a few $'s. But I'm willing to be the guinea pig on the T30 vs. the S20. At my age I think I'll be o.k. Blah

That's the S20 Randy, and while it's pretty toasted it did go 5,000 miles which is pretty good for me on a sport tire. I'm still going with the T30 on the front next week and I'll do a similar tire report. :thumbup:

Everyone that I've met from there over the last 9 years that we've been neighbors have been super cool and laid back. We actually see one of the guys putting around on that 1915 HD quite often. :rockon:
