Cool congrats about your weight loss, best way to improve your times ;) That tire pressure in the rear is way to high, lower it to about 24psi cold youll get more grip off the line but keep the front pressure up and youll get 1-2mph more in the trap. Cheers and good racing going to the NYST next...
Good stuff,
About that 60ft, what do you launch at? Did you lower your rear tire pressure? What is the setting on your rear shock and how much do you weight?
Whats up FZ6 riders.
Ive been away for a while cause Ive sold the fizzer and gotten myself a gsxr 750 as Ive been getting into more and more track days. Anyways found the old timeslips today and thought Id compile the info.

Get a tune brother, itll solve all your problems. Getting a pair of Leos definitely affects the air flow of the bike. They say that a dyno tune isnt necessary after the mod but everybody gets some decel popping as well as a rougher idle..clearly some fuel isnt burnt properly. Itll cost about...
Nice times youll get into 11s in no time like Vegas said all you gotta do is improve your 60ft...my guess is if your front is coming up youre letting go of the clutch too quickly. Awhile back I tried starting a thread where ppl would post their times. If you dont mind Id like to add a link back...
Nah Ive got similar mods and had the bike tuned by a pro and am putting out about 96hp...Unless you do some internals its very unlikely youll break 100 :( Ive gotta get an R1 I think!
Hey thanks for reminding me... I did get a map done but it was too rich and induced a lot of popping. It even caused some lag in lower revs, almost drowning the bike at times. Worked great for power though as it dynoed with 55 lbs of torque...Anywho, I sent it back to the shop last week to make...
With a bike really the only time youll want to use the clutch is off the line (releasing very smoothly). Afterwards you should power shift without your clutch through all the gears. Its not only much smoother but also faster.
