Price drop! Must go....it's taking up too much space on my driveway.
$4000 and it's yours!
Pass the word....this is a steal....still less than 4K miles on it.....clean, tidy, with all the extras!
Cheers,
Dave F.
Dudes,
It's nice weather again....and time for one of you (you know who you are!!) to step up and purchase this great machine from me. I've hardly used it in the past couple of years - it's been stored carefully, and is still in GREAT condition.
So, who wants it? I'm open to any sensible...
Looks like the links to the Stebel Air Horn and Garmin Zuni 550 GPS unit (both Amazon links) were removed by the mods. Oh well.....I didn't realize that links to informational reviews on Amazon for stuff was verboten!
Still no bites for this great bike - I'm surprised!
Cheers,
Dave F.
Nobody huh? Well, I don't HAVE to sell it, so I won't be parting out the accessories any time soon, sorry!
I'll try advertizing it at my local bike stores.
Cheers,
Dave F.
For Sale: I have decided to sell my much loved FZ-6. It's a very clean and tidy, non-raced, non-crashed, starts-first-time-every-time, smooth running and in very good condition, blue 2007 model with 3870 miles on it. It has a transferrable 12,000 mile Yamaha warranty (you pay a small fee to...
That's amazing.....so I was lied to for 2 whole years when I worked in Oman then!!! Nice to know the truth (finally!) thanks to the 'net. Interestingly, the camel spiders in Oman looked a little different than the ones in that now famous picture - they were quite hairy (desert brown hair)...
When I worked on radars in Thumrait (Oman) back in the early 80's, we used to catch camel and wolf spiders and pot them in acrylic to make paperweights. Someone walked off with my camel spider, but I still have my wolf spider paperweight - he's about 5" across. Here's a picture of it...
I just put a Stebel on my fizzer a couple of weeks ago. There's a mods thread about it that I posted a few pictures in.
I got to use the Stebel "for real" last week too - some jerk cager backed up by slow/stopped cars in his lane decided he wanted my lane because it had no cars in it and...
I fitted my Stebel under the front left fairing today. I made my own double-bracket from standard aluminum bar stock to solidly mount it to the headlight stay. I mounted the relay down where the old horn was (so I didn't have to re-route the wires, and so it can go back to stock easily if...
Your welcome Chris! I'm glad they got there okay (finally....the post office said 2 to 9 days, but it took 12!) and that you're happy with them.
Cheers,
Dave F.
Wot a coincidence....I just got a Stebel in the mail today :)
I had an incident last week in a parking lot (at very low speed thankfully), where a commercial van pulled out in front of me (he was turning right, I was going straight and had right-of-way). He never even looked left, not once. I...
Glad you're okay! Sorry to see the scrapage on your nice "new" bike! :(
I hate be all anal about this, but I thought the definition of a "lay down" was if you were stationary, and just lost your balance and laid it down (with no forward motion) as you stepped off/away from the bike. The...
Yikes! I just got round to checking the forum and saw your thread Izzy. You should go buy a lottery ticket - you are one lucky guy!! Glad to see/hear that you're doing okay.
I like how someone has painted "TL" on the mangled tank....presumably for "Total Loss".....duh, like it's not...
I too voted for "other" since there was no "stock" option. I tried M4 carbon fiber pipes but didn't like the huge noise to small extra power/torque ratio (sold 'em last week on here). They're just not worth the high cost and all that noise IMO. I prefer to be able to hear what's going on around...
