Hey everyone,
I have run into a situation where I am forced to sell my FZ6. It is a 2004 with just under 9000 miles. It has brand new tires(rear 300 miles, front 0). I am also including the battery tender, bike cover, and Teknic Speedstar Saddlebags. I have done bd_43's headlight mod. I...
I have worked with a wide variety of laptops and it seems everyone has a different opinion. My opinion on it is that it depends on what you are going to use it for. I have had good luck with Dell. I would recommend whatever laptop you get that you should get the warranty as well.
Congrats on the new bike. It sounds like you are loving it already. I wish I would have read this forum before I bought mine, but luckily I got one anyway. Have fun and post often.
Sorry, this might be a really dumb question but I read about both a racing and a sport screen. Are they the same thing, just different names? Or are they two different screens? If so, what is the difference between the racing and the sport?
Thanks
I was finally able to drive the bike enough to empty the gas tank so I could do this mod. It is awesome!!! It took me a little over an hour to do it (would have been so much faster but the air filter case was a pain to get back on). Anyways, it looks awesome and the cable looks very...
I live in Utah too. The weather has been horrible. Last week, I decided I was riding no matter what. I picked a sunny day, but it was about 25 degrees when I left for work and didn't get above 45 degrees. I froze to death the whole day. I can't wait for some good weather so I can ride.
Honestly for me the determining factor was I could only find the FZ6 locally at the price I wanted to pay. I was debating between the FZ6 and the SV650. I liked both bikes and had sat on both at the dealership, but I could only afford an used one. However, there were no used SV650's in my...
I received my Speedstar bags today! I think they look great on the bike. What a great find!
I would also like to see how someone hooked the straps on the bottom.
Where did you get yours at and how much did it cost? I have the same bike and would love to get it to help out on the wind. Has it helped with that? I am 6'2" and the wind bothers me a little. Also, it looks awesome.
This weekend, it is finally suppose to be nice - maybe hitting mid 60's. I can't wait to finally get out and take a nice ride. The wife is ready for me too. That way I might finally stop complaining about not riding.
I haven't had that situation come up yet, but when I do, you can bet I am going to wear my helmet. I will probably take my time just so I can make sure to get a few laughs out of it.
According to this site, it has Built in rain hood on both bags, with drawstring closure, it is large enough to fit all compartments fully packed. This is for the speedstar bags. On the same site, the deluxe bags don't mention that they have it built in. I would assume they don't, or they...
Here is a thread about soft saddlebags. I bought the Speedstar bags and am waiting for them to show up. I think they look good, are very cheap, and are heat resistent.
Those look great. Now I am really can't wait for mine to come. I have been looking for something that looks good, holds up well(hopefully), and didn't break the bank(wife doesn't want me spending much on the bike). These look like they are going to hopefully meet all of that. Were they easy...
