2005 speedo

Crashed about 4 weeks ago....not more than 10-15mph and much more of a slide than a crash. Lifted her up and drove her home after cussing' and sweeping all the plastic off the road.
Everything works but the speedo.....which remanined in place and in position.
It's blank all the time except for the clock which appears to work.
Tried pulling the plugs. When I reconnected them...the whole speedo shows all of the info...like a "start" mode...for about 2 seaconds and then quickly fades.
If i reconnect immediately...nothing shows.
If i wait maybe 10-15 seconds...everything shows again.
No damage to wires, connections and speedo did not impact anything.
RESET and SELECT dont work and there is no code showing.
So...maybe someone can offer a suggestion...or sell me a speedo. I'd be happy either way.

Do the indicator lights work on the unit? Is the clock keeping the correct time?

Could be a damaged/broken connection or component internally.
