Hey guys,

So I was just wondering. Will an exhaust stated to be for the Fz6 2011 and 12 fit the Fz6n 2008 models?
TL;DR: No.
As a person who is lurking but didn't do this performance mod, I can say, 2009 is the year where FZ6 is stopped in production line. From 2010, is it called FZ6R which a detuned FZ6. It is not underseat pipes like ours. And fz6r is a single pipe, on the right side.

That certainly makes sense and i understand that the FZ6R has that side exhaust, I guess what i was really referring to was this exhaust that i was looking at. "http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/EXHAUST-LEOVINCE-SBK-YAMAHA-FZ6S2-600-LV-ONE-STEEL-2011-11-2012-12-/111190918613"

It certainly is a dual exhaust and not just one on the side. That's why I was a bit confused.

Recently bought a Leo on ebay for a FZ6 2007 and this posting does seem to be for the S2 except the seller seems to have messed up the years.

The Leo kit comes with a Y pipe and it is around that listed price. The price for the FZ6R is about half that of the FZ6.

But nevertheless, confirm with the seller that this is the right model for your bike.
