For anyone (Benelux/European) interested, on the 20th and 21st there will be Royal Netherlands Air Force Days at Gilze-Rijen Airbase. I'll try to take some pictures in between of work and post them here.

Nope, two different powerplants :thumbup:...... That Spitfire is a MkXIX that was fitted with the Rolls Royce Griffon engine & was used mainly as a photo-recon platform & the US P-51's were powered by a Packard Merlin built under licence from Rolls Royce with a different supercharger fitted :D
