Anyone up for a tour of Tassie!

It was well worth the wait Mike , thanks heaps  Humpy will be tinkering in the mancave next weekend   What do you reckon , 3 or 4 coldies work in it ?? :D

We all know she is a LART , no news in that one :BLAA: Although she has told me about a certain Wossi replica helmet you own :eyebrow: please explain ;)
Take your time. Maybe 4 coldies or 6 rums in your language :)

As for the Rossi helmet, after Karen told me she posted about it, I threw it out last week - along with my old Haga helmet. It was a long time ago - I had bought the SP-1 and I couldn't get a Garry McCoy helmet. And I would NEVER buy a Mick Doohan helmet as I am not worthy :bow:

I'll stick with the 4 coldies coz after 6 Rums  I couldnt be bothered fixing stuff :D

I guess you can be forgiven for the Wossi lid now its gone  & nobody is worthy of wearing a Sir Mick helmet

Ok, left the bikes on the trailer last night and took off early this morning for a test drive.

No problems at all! The trailer was great and the sexy new Commodore towed like a dream

We've got a cover for the trailer - keep prying eyes away when we're staying along the Nullabor.

Added a few pics. Also a pic of our property at the moment - VERY brown and dry - opposite to you Dan :(

Still havent seen the pics of the 'sexy' new Rolladore , Dunnydore , Commonbore or whatever it is you call it ;) They obviously broke the computer during uploading :BLAA:

Oh & it might not be very dry over here but we still have that AWEFUL shade of mud brown :( There is nothing green about it

:rof: Open your bloody eyes

Here is a Google Maps view of our ride from my joint to PI....848km's the shortest way, but it does take us through Horsham, etc, where the floods are, am guessing some of the Western Highway is going to be "out" still when we are set to go to victoria, we may have to take suggested option number 2, on the map side panel...

Nothing there but the default map of Aus.... :(

Your "Guard" dogs look menacing!

You might wanna put covers on those bikes when travelling, not just when stopped, they will get filthy dirty otherwise! Be aware of putting tie-downs anywhere near your tyres...they cause nasty damage over a few hundred clicks!

Hmmmm...will try thatagain shortly!

Yep, the "guard" dogs are menacing :rof:

As for the trailer, we have a zip up canvas cover for the whole cage - clips onto the trailer. Will be completely covered :)

If you leave a canvas cover over the whole trailer whilst driving, you will create massive amounts of drag i reckon, and increase fuel usage by lots and lots...this has been my experience anyway...i reckon your better off fitting bike cover's over the bike's themselves whilst travelling...and use the big cover once you stop...just a thought.

Wolfman

Mike and I are definitely up to a ride on the Wednesday, when we get into Adelaide  Gives us a chance to make sure the bikes are running well after the trip from Perth.

So Dan, been meaning to ask, what route are you riding down to Melbourne? Where are you stopping/staying on the way and how long are you planning to take?

:)

Cool banana's Humpy...i knew they were somewhere, but as usual, i forgot! Thanks for doing the "leg work", i am off to have a decent look now...gonna count the corners! :D

My biggest problem at the moment? What jacket/jackets to take.

I have my Teknic leather (perforated so pretty good); my Rivet Freeway winter jacket (removable lining) and my brand new Teknic summer airvent jacket that arrived today

Really, I have to decide between my summer airvent and leather as I will have to take my Freeway jacket - waterproof, but as a summer jacket - it's far too hot, even with the lining removed.

Oh, decisions decisions

Having a real hard time getting these maps to load! Is it just my crap internet connection, or is the same for anyone else???

:(
