We're using an online DVD website to rent movies. Whatever is on your list, they will mail it to you once it comes around and Beowulf was sent to us.
Unlike what it looked like in theatre trailers, Beowulf is actually a fully CG movie. The actor's faces are scanned into the computer. When zoomed on their faces, it is the only time you think it is a regular movie. It is an interesting technique of filming.
The story is set in the medieval times, similar to Lord of the Rings. The story is intriguing, similar to Oedipus; but visually, I’m no fan of knights, dragons, and witches. Being a fan of modern or futuristic movies, I fast forwarded most of the movie.
