Most people I know use BelRay down here. No sling and lasts for ages. Does come off in the wet like last Friday when I had 2 inches of rain in 2 hours of riding.
No probs though, when I got out of the rain, fueled up and oiled the chain then let the stuff sit for 10 minutes.
Not sure if BelRay is from the States but is good stuff.
