Differences in swing arms

So other then the much easier way of adjusting the chain on the later models is there any other advantage of having an s2 swing arm?

If it has any other advantages I would possibly consider it before I service my current one which I believe is the last run version of the s1 version a mine is black. I read this in another forums post.
