Ducati Monster 696

Bought a new headlight for my streetfighter.

The stock bracket has a neat little place to mount my speedo.

I also bought these fork brackets for to mount it.

I need some suggestions on how to modify the fork mount so that I can bolt it to the tear drop shaped hole in the Duc headlight.....

Nice... looks like you have perfect mounting tabs on the sides of the headlight... should be pretty easy to fit.

I believe that you will need to modify the inner rubber gaskets of the fork brackets to be able to make them fit...

Daniel (the OP) never got around to installing this headlight, IIRC. We've got a friend that has the 696 Duc and I think he fell in love with the idea of putting that headlight on his naked FZ6.

He ended up buying Paige's (as in PJ's Parts) FZ1 earlier this year. He's never looked back, either. I think he sold the FZ6, but I have no idea what ever became of the 696 headlight.

I may give him a call and see if he's still got it. :thumbup:
