, ok so i changed rear brake fluid, changed my new basic oil into syn 20/50(amazing shift feeling compared to what i had) and changed antifreeze, my issue is bike is running up n to 217 now which seems hot, whats the high end operating temp w/o overheating? i cant seem to find it in the manual it just says therm should open at 185

217 even while going down the road? If so could be an air bubble some where in the system.

Did you "burp" the system after changing the coolant? If not, chances are you have air in the coolant system....

how does one burp it? i couldnt find drain bolt on rad so i unhooked lower hose drained it all, added water drained it all x3 like an idiot i blew through it to get all antifreeze out, so likely has air in it
