I have the Hel lines (ft and rear), initially two lines up front.
I changed the front to the front line over the fender and one line up to the master cylinder.
(Less cables to deal with/ a bit cleaner look IMO)

They don't expand under hard braking and I did find a firmer feel.

I didn't spend nearly that much but it was well over 12 years ago:

**If an S2 model, caliper seals are a must if ANY significant dragging..

I'll get the regular lines. A definite update for sure. Just wondering when ordering the caliper seals do I have to order 2 sets?

The S1 model uses a different caliper, with half the pistons of the S2.
The S2 also seems to have dragging brakes much more than the S1.

As I re-call (it's been MANY years), I think you need 2 sets. Contact your seller to confirm.

I’m just thinking about my installation of the SS lines a few years back…I believe that the “race kit” and the regular kit are one in the same, the only difference is where you decide to use the double banjo bolt (master or right caliber). I did dry fit both styles but I found the double lines to be a little cleaner. At the time I thought the double lines would be easier to bleed (fill from the bottom).

You need a shorter line to JUST go over the fender.

As I re-call, bleeding the double lines was slightly easier.
I just didn't like the extra line cluttering up things.

The double lines, before I went back to the single line:
