Finally got the exhaust ordered. This exhaust requires cutting the existing exhaust, but videos show to be very easy to remove. A sawsall and grinder should make it work. Shows a 5 hp increase w/ a 10lbs weight savings. That's all I care about.

It's rather pricey being 380$ albeit a great alternative when the next thing cost 900-1300$ running a full header back. Will see how it weathers and pick up a dynojet next year.

Yes, I am that guy who pulls the silencer out and forgets about it. ;)

THE SNOW MUST STOP!!

$380 sounds like a bargain compared to the seven, eight hundred dollars I paid for the M-4s on my FZ-6; I'm guessing the -09 only has a single can.
I've never regretted the purchase, however; she sounds soo sweet!

5 hp gain = extremely marketing trick without a proper map IMHO.

I love the stock fz09 sound and it will transfom to a beast with a aftermarket exhaust :D

please post a video when you installed :)

Well, I got the exhaust pulled and cut which is a ten minute job. I did cut a ya bit long just in case. The sucky part now is the grinding, I did it until my hands went numb. I work all weekend as well :( hopefully get it Monday, its calling for rain tom, stuffed some rags in the exhaust port.

I would have been able to do it all yesterday, but my in laws took there sweet ass time returning my grinder.

Aaaannnnnsld its done. I will try and get a video soon. The exhaust is outstanding. And the fire that comes out of the back will look pretty in the night time :)

Worth every penny.
