Ok, I picked up the bar this morning. Got it installed. Opted to go the "clipped nub" route. Loosened the left grip by taking a small hex wrench and inserting it in the end of the grip and then spinning the end while working the wrench around and down the bar to loosen the glue. Stuck the WD-40 squirt straw up there and gave a good squirt in several places and the grip came right off.

Took it for a short spin this morning and am not as impressed as I was hoping to be. Oh well.
