Hello everyone! I have grown tired of my FZ6 under seat exhaust. I was thinking about the FZ6R side exhaust with a Werkes muffler. I can tell by the pictures that I will have to remove the center stand. But does anyone know if the FZ6R exhaust will fit?

The two bikes are pretty much only related due to the FZ6, the tuning fork on the windshield and the base for the engine...
Pretty sure that the exhaust ports are different so the headers won't even match.

Have a search on FZ6 mods. It can be done with fabrication, but requires a little work. A few people are also skeptical of the problem of backpressure problem, but, who cares!

Contact Marthy. I was asking about the same mod and he said he needed a FZ6R can to do the mockups.

Side exhausts are terrible. I've lost a good pair of rain pants and part of my boot to side exhausts. I consider the undertail exhaust a selling point of the FZ6.

Not to mention all the work it would take to make it look halfway decent getting rid of the under tail system

I will be glad to work something out with you. You will need a fuel controller for sure in my book. I custom made a PCV map for the 6R (best map available, even with the TB exhaust) It might work with the FZ6... won't hurt to try.

Check out my website for pics and prices.

One thing about the Werkers... it's just a $150.00 exhaust tip, not a slip-on.
