For the first time in 10 years, hubby and I are heading off on a vacation in the car rather than on the bikes! We already know we're going to be lamenting not having the bikes at several points in the trip, but we have a very good reason!

We're heading from Calgary down to Miller Motorsports park outside Salt Lake City for the 2-day camp with California Superbike School! :cheer::cheer::cheer: Neither of us have ever taken our bikes on the track, so we're both incredibly excited about this!

We figured that with the chance that one or the other of us might take a tumble on the track, we'd be better off with the car then trying to figure out how to get two bikes and a possibly injured rider home. Besides, if we take the car, then nothing will happen (same logic as taking your rain gear so it doesn't rain). ;)

After the school, we'll be heading to Bryce Canyon to do some hiking and touring around that area. We went through there last year on the bikes, and really wanted to spend some more time in the area. It's also easier to carry all the proper hiking gear with us in the car, rather than trying to strap it all to an FZ6 and a ZX11! And we'll probably do a stop at Yellowstone on our way back home. We'll be gone two weeks in all. So far the weather looks like it's going to cooperate! :D
