How much did you $spend on your fz6? $7200

Used blue '08 with 7k for $4300 USD

bought from a dealer in Jan. 2010

$4100 for the bike and $200 for dealer fee, taxes, etc...
they wanted $300 more but that was all the cash I had and that was all I was willing to pay. lucky for me, they were willing to negotiate!! :D

My loan all together was almost 8k. The bike was 6k brand new with 0 miles on it. Its an 08. But I also got 2 helmets, frame sliders, extended warranty, GAP protection and then taxes title ect...

Bought used 08 FZ6 with 4200 miles in August of 09 from the original owner for $5000.

Talked him into throwing in a nice $100 plus tank bag.

NEW 2009 Raven FZ6 purchased on 6/9/10 in Houston, TX (Mancuso PowerSports Southwest) for $6,000 OTD (bike, taxes, license..everything). The numbers started shrinking really fast when I told them I was on the way to the Honda dealership (and I was wearing a Honda t-shirt).

Figured I'd put this in here rather than start a new thread:

I've found a new '09 FZ6R for an advertised $4999. I'm expecting the dealership is going to try to get as much out of me as they can from fees. I'm wondering what reasonable dealer/tax/tag/title fees should be(I'm in FL). I've got $1200 to put down on the bike, but my credit history is, well, I don't have one. Should I look forward to some surprises on the financing side as well?

09 FZ6, Raven. Marked down to $5499. + 8.5% sales tax and their $950 (I think) "Delivery and Dealer Prep" markup. Picked it up at East Bay Motorsports in Hayward. A good friend of mine just picked up the exact same bike in San Jose for $100 more. It was the only one left in a 50 mile radius.

Brought home my '09 yesterday for $5999 ($6500 OTD). It was the only holdover I could find within reasonable driving distance, so I'm pleased with the deal.

I purchased my 2004 from a fellow rider for $2400. He purchased a used Ducati ST4 and had me perform a 12k service, which he deducted from the price of the bike. So... I technically paid $1400 for the Yamaha. I did have a few hundred wrapped up in parts for his Duc, though.

2500 for 05 with 12000 miles. Guy wanted a scooter, outsides of the tires still had little wiskers on them. Bike looksand fells new.

New 2009 with 600 miles on it (it was the dealer's demo, which meant that the Sales Manager rode it as his occasional commuter) for just under $5800 OTD. Perfect, already broken in and the 600 mile service done.
