Just me, or do birds hate the FZ?

Birds don't like me. Just squint your eyes like a cat. B1tches be running.

Honestly though, I've only travelled a few thousand k's, but have only ALMOST run over a few, never any attacks, swoops, poops or bar fights.

Rob got beaned int he head by a bat last year and had an owl swoop in front of him the same night while I was following him home. Shortly after, I took his FZ to work one day, and had to emergency stop as a family of turkeys got in my way on the highway and wouldn't move.

Stupid birds. And bats.

Never hit a bird yet but I took a bat to the collar bone at a combined 80 mph one night...I had a bruise for a week! I never ride with my visor up above 35 mph anymore for that very reason! There is no way you could maintain control of your bike if you were on a curve if you took that kind of impact to the face!

Crazy critter -

Tried to out think a Chipmunk darting yesterday - it was a close one! I zigged and zagged and he darted and dashed. No harm, no fowl (haha - bird thread) and he was ushered off the road by the air blast of the front tire. My ZRX rider buddy behind me said he was OK.

He made at least 3 suicide attempts. . . Foolish critter. . . :ban:

According to our records - its safe to post that video now!

Wolfman play the card. . . :BLAA:

. . . . . . . . . . In fact one particular Eagle has flown out of the same tree 3 times, and gone straight at my helmet!!!! I even have video evidence, and 3rd party witness's!!!!

Ummm, its a sorta fast road, and you can see my speedo....

I can't help but bring up the obvious; Birds have MUCH MORE WARNING now that my exhaust is 10X louder!!! They fly from the bushes, trees, roadside, creek, neighbors gutter, - you name it, birdies are all over the map even worse than before!!!

Anyone else notice this; have an issue with it? Maybe need to duck allot?

I think I posted it a couple years ago about my first bird strike, had a sparrow dive on me and it grenaded on my mirror extender. I was doing 80.....POOOOF, gone!
It has to be the engine frequency, idk?
