Liscense or No?

rode dirt for around 12 years before getting license.
test then 3 months on 'L' Permit,
test then 3 months on 'P' Permit and then straight onto full license.
(over twentyfive didn't have to spend the full amount of time on each permit - back in the day)

I had to vote permit, liscense, bike cause my option wasnt there.. I did the MSF class to get liscense then bought my bike.. Never had a permit.

I never had a permint (LA doesn't require them). However, I had my license 8 months before I got my bike.

Yea we got it good here in La. I went to the DMV off of Flourney Lucas rd.and, took the written test then made a loop around the parking lot,and POOF!! I had a M/C endorsement.

No permit. Bike, MSF BRC, license. I did at least register for the BRC before I bought the bike, though. Long waiting list for the course.

I got my permit in preparation to getting a bike
Then I bought my bike
Then I took the MSF course and got my license

I had to book the MSF course over a month in advance, and I HAD to take it in order to get my license since I was under 21.
