This was the British Superbikes at Snetterton this past weekend... Thank god the guys survived... One broke a leg though...

The last thing to hit the ground are the front wheel and forks of one bike...launched approx 50 feet in the air they were... The othe bike did not snap but went up abt 15 feet before landing....

Apparently someones engine let go and spilled oil on the track, which these guys hit at full pelt....

who rolled the furthest
who's bike went the furthest
who was leading at the time of the crash

glad they weren't hurt more seriously.

A tremendous amount of energy dissipated in that crash to launch them that far into the air. Surprised neither rider was hurt too badly.

I prefer these two. First one is funny... like the bike is possessed or something. Second one is sad... poor guy got stuck racing a Harley. That never ends well.
